Yeah I don't know where I'm off to though. I think that staying in the state would be the best idea, but a part of me wants to leave even that.

I was planning on another department if I ever became a cop. No way would I ever stick around here once school is done. I think that I'll be the first person to ever actually leave this god forsaken place.

Could always try one for a department in another town. If they treat you like shit cause they do it to your dad then they aren't cops anyways just pussies with a gun. If I was working with any cops that act like them I'd kick their ass myself.

You know I'd be more than happy to take a ride with a cop in my local area for some insight. However my family's name isn't the greatest, all the cops around here demonized my old man.

There is no devious motives behind me wanting to be a cop, just saying that the ones around here aren't exactly law abiding themselves. Guess I could just look at that as more motivation. Not like I plan on staying in this town for much longer anyways.

Nah, Beast of the East makes me Big Boss :P, it can be a stressful field, but it is one I enjoyed, I am actually filling out an app for the local PD up here. They accepted my preliminary application so hopefully the accept and I can go to their academy. Most PDs do offer some nice time off. Usually like 4 days working 4 days off 3 days working 3 days etc, gives ya like 2 weekends off a month 2. Now some are 5 days a week 2 days off but in cities more like LA and NYC. 12 hour shifts for all I believe. I think it is very rewarding career and ya can't beat the benefits which in this damn economy at least for me beats the pay lol but most start out at 30k a year or more. And it increases as you put more years in or earn degrees. Ya should definitely talk to a local cop or go to your local PD and get some info maybe even schedule a ride along with an officer for a couple hours. Will give ya more insight into the job and the demands

I've always wanted to be a cop since a little kid. I still want to make it my career of choice. Sometimes I have my doubts about the job though like will I have time to spend with my family, will I be able to handle the stress, low paying salary things like that.

Yea I suppose lol. I got an interview for the local OD up here so I might be a cop again lol.
