FF XIII Summons.

Feel free to talk about FXIII's summons in this thread.

Anywayz so what new summons you want to see in the game?

I am not sure about this but I think that Shiva, Irifit and Bahamut have already been confirmed, I am not sure about any others.

As for me I personally wanna see Phoenix and Odin make theier series reappearance in this game.

I was annoyed in FFX that they got replaced by the useless weakling Valefor and the money grubbing git called Yojimbo.

Phoenix and Odin > Valefor and Yojimbo anytime in coolness, looks and usefulness.

Also I am wondering if you will be to control the summons just like the characters, you know like in FFX.

hmm i think itll be like ffxi form of summons you summon and you ask to attack and use special moves, and it uses mp while it is out, much like ffxii

I hope that it is more like the older summons than like the summons in FF12. That felt too limited, I like the tactical thinking that you had to do in the older versions of the summons. That and that they were cooler.

it wont be it will be like in ff12 where you use magick as the summon is out because it is real time battles

It think that since FF has gone thru so many "episod". Why don't Square Enix put all summons altogether in FF 13?? But i personally like shiva a lot.....

that would be faaaaaar to many summons and also if that was the case something like that would mean the end of final fantasy which is just not gonna be the case

I agree, that if every summon was to be added there would be too many. Personally I would like to see the return of Lich, Alexander, Titan, and The Knights of the Round.

It would be difficult to have all 13, but if the same system as X is used, this could be accomplished with the same interface that the Magus Sisters used.
