Dragon Age 2

Ok I got my PS3 signature edition copy of the game on Friday (release day in europe) And so far I am loving the game, the new battle system is amazing and looks quite sexy when combining attacks, looks much more fluid than the first. Much better facial expression as the first, and it seems to have kept the same wit, humour and great story telling in the game. I still havn't really gone that far into the game as I am a sidequest whore and have done so many.
I may be male, but the one of the new playable character Fenris is sexy, gotta love him.

So what are other peoples views on the game, I have read some people not liking the changes and caused up a stir on the official forums, not sure if this is just the PC version they dont like or what, as the console version imo is a vast improvement.

Dragon Age II is awesome. Got a lot of sweet bonuses with the Signature Edition and some pretty sweet ones for going on the bioware community site. The graphics do look better if only slightly which isn't a bad thing because I thought Origins looked great. New battle system is amazing, hasn't bored me at all, in Origins it got dull after a while press A for 360 or X for PS3 they move into their little formation or go on a nice hike if someone is in their way, like Alistair's big head or Shale, occasionally use an ability, pop a potion, battle over. Also I love how much more fluid the motion is. In Origins it seemed like the characters had cement boots on in battle so slow to move.

Like Matt, I am also a side quest whore and have only done enough of the main story to get Anders for heals. But so far I love it. Seems like the side quest never end, not that I'm complaining. Also not having to decided is Hawke or a companion should get a piece of armor is nice, focus solely on buffing up Hawke with the best armor. So far the only thing I have discovered that I do not like is how they changed some appearances. Don't get me wrong Flemeth looks more like a witch in this one and with the Darkspawn it at least gives you an idea of why any infected with the taint, or anyone becoming a grey warden, their eyes go all white/bind looking since the Darkspawn's eyes are now like that. It makes sense I know, but I'm just touchy when they do that kinda stuff, kinda liek when they cast a new actor or actress in a movie for a character in a direct sequel. Like who would have watch The Return of the King if a new actor played Aragorn or Gandalf or even midget Frodo, anyway I digress.

For me Dragon Age II gets a 9/10 only because I don't know much about the storyline and if it's any good, but based on side quest the improved facial looks and expressions, and the new improved and amazing combat system it gets 10/10.

O ya I definatly liked the fact that you didnt need to choose armour for characters, only accessories

Yea it makes it so much easier. Used to be like gah I should hold onto that someone might use or need it. Now it's like requires so and so cunning and dexterity that's a rogue item I'm a mage so SELL SELL SELL lol.

stuff didnt sell for all that much in this game though you can have a full inventory and it not really sell for much.

Yea hopefully they will change that or higher level items will sell for much more. I mean in Origins things didn't sell for much either. Most armor and junk barely sold for a gold if that.

ya well nothing sells for a gold in this game, its all seliver or bronze
