Hmmm, I never used a cheat code in a game, unless I finished it the hard way first. Only game I used cheat codes in was Enter the Matrix, and that has been it.
I like to play for the challenge and rush.

the only game i think i recall using a cheatcode for is doom for the lols XD, getting the bfg and just running around blasting everything in god mode lol. some games cheat codes are fine, something like the sims, in fact in the sims cheat codes are expected for hardcore players of the game

cheat codes are fun but they can ruin a game if your playing for the enjoyment of saying you beat it. i have played some games were i just dont care about the gameplay and just want to see the end of the game. Like FF10 i got all the way to the last battle with that dude on the snowy mountain and just was like screw this i just wanna see the end so i cheated and maxed my lvls and ran threw the rest of the game not knowing that he was the last battle before i could get off the rails and run around doing what ever i wanted. I wanna find some cheats for 13 so i can finish watching the movies

its not even that its more of how do you feel about your win. If you feel cheated after useing a cheatcode because you didnt play the game the way it was ment then using codes just isnt for you

Casualy Hardcore lol. Anyway my view on cheat codes is this. If you beat the game feel free to cheat. If you couldn't care less about whether or not you did it legitimately feel free to cheat. If you already beat the game, over wrote your save file, raged at your self for 3 hours straight about how stupid you are for ovewriting your amazing game file that took you months to set up and will take you even longer to do again, feel free to cheat. So my view, cheat all you want, just not on any MMOs or other publicly hosted games like tournaments, and certainly don't brag to your friends about winning when you cheated, nobody likes an A-hole.

(also something interesting I found out, If you use infinite health on 358/2 days and then run mission mode, you only see yourself with infinite health and healing doesn't work because your game registers full health but since nobody else's game registers it as full health you appear to be dieing to them, you can't heal, and then you can die with full health. if that didn't make sense, I apologize because I'm not from anywhere special and english is my first language, so I probably just sucked at explaining it)
