Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

I felt bad that this section of forum gets so little attention.

Has anyone actually played Revenant Wings? Does it have any connection to The PS2 version. I've considered getting it but a wanted to get a solid review on it first.

It isn't in terms of gameplay however it IS a direct sequel though it depends on taste whether you enjoy it or not, I personally don't mind it but get bored easily when I have to level up just to beat the next boss

It went from Semi-Turned Based Action RPG style into Real-Time Strategy style, but the game itself is still great! =P

It DOES have alot of things from the first game, such as hunts, and loot (though acquired a bit differently in most cases), and of course, characters.

The BEST thing is my opinion is the Ring of Pacts, being able to make many different monsters (all called Espers, and yea even the Espers from the game can join you, as well as old classics like Ifrit and Shiva) and put them into your "units" which is led by one of the characters (5 units in battle at one time)
