Quickenings

OK help me out with these things cause i still dont get how to use them.

right so quickenings.

they are an awsome move which does lots of damage against the enemy.

What you do is choose someone to do a quickening, if they have one or more of their quickenings filled up [its on the mp bar]. the maximum number of quickenings you get is 3. There are enough quickenings on the liscence board so it doesnt matter who choses what, btu its best to get the at the begingin because you get a massive mp boost. Obviosuly think who to chose to go where, tactically becasue you dont particulary want basche ending up with all his points spent in the white magic and staff section... up to you in the end.

After selecting someone's quickeinign you go to the quiceknign screen where you see the character perform a quickening. in that time you have the option of doing a combo quickening. The combo quickening is getting another character [it can be the same] to do a quickening afterwards. Each of the options of quickening corresponds with a button on the controller, so you press it to perform it next.
The results which come up are completely random so it might be fran with a level 2 quicening and ashe with a level 3 quickenign and vaan with a level one quickenign. Of course there is the option that no quickenign comes up, or no character has any mp left to do a quickening. In this instance you can shuffle usinng r1 on playstation i think... so that does another lot of random choices. Another option that may come up is the choice to 'boost' or somethign like this. this is some sort of adreniline boost which gives them a surge of mana so they can perform a quickening. so then it is like using them with full mp. Obviously the chances of some things coming up are unliky.

There are also thigns which are called concourences. these happen when a certain combination of level 1, 2 and 3 happens. as in 3x lv 1 quickening or 2x lv1 + 2x lv2 +2x lv3. Look em up on wiki. its hard to do it though...
Well anyway when you perform that, at the end of the quickening combo you get a elemental attack... which is actually non elemental actually. youll see. it looks elemental but does non elemental damage. you cant controll it really, unless you are very lucky. Usually if you perform quite a number of quickenings then you will get a concourence.

I would say that when you have all 3 levels of quickenigns with all characters you shoudl be able to get an average numebr of 9 or so quickenings. my best is about 18. that was hard. you get lucky most of the time, but you have to be rather fast and know what you want.

the only thing you have to watch for is if your attacks are heavliy based on magic... then you are abit stuck if you use quickenings with all characters - it sucks all mp from you, no matter what level of quickening you use. The best thing is that you can use them when your character is in a sticky situation to do big damage with one character - just do quickenings and shuffling until you get to charge and then do more uickenigns. its rather good like that.
I could kill most of the mediocre bosses by just using one quickenign combo at the beginging of the battle.

i have now achieved to get inferno (which looks rather cool lol) im only at the moving demon wall thing and i managed to take it out with a quickening combo of 7 thx mate

hey nice!
i assume you meanthe second demon wall mind - the first is rather challenging and optional and impossible at the begining of the game.
you get a kl sword if you kill it though.

not makinf bad progress though.

i tried the first one after lol i managed to get it to 1/4 health left lol a 5 chain quickening followed by a 4 chain
