when i try to use the Mist chain.... it only gives me the option of useing Ashe's any idea why?!? i have one for Basch too, but it isnt working for him.... i am stumped....

If you have only 1 mist it's not gonna work...

You need to advance in the licence board first to make quickenings effective.

Mist is random, so even if you have MP left, it doesn't necessarily allow you to use that right away.

Just try to use silence/blind and cast yourself protect/shell before fight. And if you have Esker Berries, use them to Garuda

Use your bows/guns as long as you can and finish him with quickenings when all of your party is still alive (keep your mp up). Use only items to heal etc.

Dude...I beat that monster in the first time, but I don't truly remember what lvl...Just try kicking the bird's ass with EVERYTHING you got...That boss is nothing compared with whatz* next...so...good luck ;)

And BTW, in the quickenings, you only need obligatory MP in the first caster...But if you use quicking in chain with another char, that second one will aswell lose MP depending on the level of the quickening. Anyway, keep yourself ready to pwn him and don't keep your healing and guard down.

If you want, restart the game...Lvl more and get used to abilities =o, I never restarted, only going to do it someday to get the zodiac spear and beat optional bosses with it...(The Swordmaster is VERY dificult, and he uses different sword from previous FF's, for example Tidus's Brothersword (or something like that, the water-looking sword), Cloud's Sword and others...And there is two battles with him, witch in second there are four phases... witch he gets powerful and powerful...Sorry for these LONG brackets :o)

I beat garuda.... but I had to pack all my stuff up and ship it back home, so i didnt get much further than that.... I am just inside and fighting the walls.... I should be leaving the desert soon.

Watch out For Telega XD It can be a pain if ur gunna use quickining chains use it before he casts it or else it could take out the wrong person :P Other than that remember that he likes status effects and rarely uses melee attacks but they hurt when he does. :P Sleep is a pain and remember u dont have to fight the first one yet XD fight it only if your able (has double the hp and half the walk)

It has been a while for me too, since Ive beaten Garuda but I seem to remember there being a way to get rid of his glow and once I did that he was a snap. I believe it may have something to do with helping out those dessert people (again its been a while and names escape me)?
