Final Fantasy XII FF12 broke the tradition of Battle Screens and was also the sixth game ever to receive a perfect 40/40 score from Famitsu.

Lol...I pwned FFXII a bit fast...I don't truly remember but I guess I used walkthough there and there because of some puzzles, specially in that tower...In that island that I can't remember, but the battle system its a bit complicated (If you don't know you can REALLY make it real-time if you go to option and chosse to make the game active, which doesn't stop the game like scrolling tho commands...

The game hasn't a good story may I say its just go after that to do that...The FF game I most loved was X and prolly a bit of x-2 and IX, never played XI, trying to, hehe =)

Yea, FF12 didn't keep up to S-E's high standards for a story line. But it's still a good game. I love the mist abilities.

I kinda enjoyed this game too, but it took me awhile to beat because of lost interest for awhile at the Stillshrine of Miriam >.> Vaan isn't exactly the best hero either lol.

Well, I thought that it was meant that you choose your own "hero" of the characters you are given. And what is "hero" anyway?, it's a matter of opinion. If you consider that the hero always saves/gets the lady, I guess you choose Balthier It doesn't have to be so black/white... I thought role-players had to think creatively ;)

I can only speak for myself, but I don't want to play games/watch movies or whatever, where the story structure is always the same. Or play same type of games over and over and just expect better graphics for the next game.

As for the fighting system, you can still play the game like any other ff. You can change the battle style and beat the game that way too, so what's the problem? There's pretty much fighting in this game, so using new system you can "fast forward" the parts you consider BORING.
