Auron = Balthier?

i have herd a few people say that Balthier is the Auron of FF12

so what do you think is Balthier the Auron of FF12?

well ya i guess so, they are both the bad boy quiet types of the game, no real humor in them just brute force

lol again i think i'm gonna have to rule this site i do agree about auron and baltheir and their additude but if u match basch and auron both power both old...lol and both speak words of wisdom.

I have to dissagree. I don't think that at all! I don't think balthier is anything like Auron.

Actually, I did a bit of relating between the two.
I got this...
Auron is most like Basch. Dedicated, mysterious, and strong.
Yuna is most like Penelo. Quite, innocent, and determined.
Rikku is most like Vaan. Playful, rebellious, yet a team fighter.
Lulu is most like Ashe. She can seem mean, but she is just very determined.

But I'm going to have to say both Balthier and Fran are completely unique.
Balthier is far to proud and humorous to be Auron. Maybe a grim Wakka, but I'm pushing it.

Really...I think by looks and attitude and weapon and how he holds it that Auron is more like Vosler.

Unearthed...I think Lulu is more mature than Ashe and Ashe is much more...determined

I agree with Shadow. Auron most closely resembles Vossler. They both appear to have a dark side that is inexplicable early on in the storyline. They both make it clear that brawn is their superior trait, along with loyalty. Auron's loyalty to Jecht costs him his future, the same went with Vossler's undying loyalty towards his justice. Balthier has his light-hearted side, and for this he's nothing like Auron.
