Who beat the Dark Aeons?

I'm going to have to put my hand up here, having dedicated over 400 hours into X on several different playthroughs I can most certainly say that I took the time to beat all the Dark Aeons and Penance. Has anyone else spent all the time, effort and planning that goes into beating the Dark Aeons just for the simple satisfaction of being able to say "yeah I finished the game completely"?

Discuss, and also who had you stumped for the longest amount of time, what specific trouble did you encounter, and who did you use!

I always use a combination of Tidus, Wakka and Yuna as my main three characters when fighting the dark aons, Tidus and Wakka for their powerful overdrives and Yuna to use the Aeons as shields.

Haha yeah, Jojimbo definitely does not count!

This has to be done without resorting to any cheats or tricks like Jojimbo, you have to actually go through and do all the hard bits.

define go in and do all the hard bits, cause I used Tidus, Auron, and Yuna. Tidus and Auron were basically my powerhouses and I also taught Yuna black magic coupled with the Nirvana Celestial weapon helped to both fight and heal at the same time. I basically went in order from first to last, Bahamut and the sisters being the most difficult for me.

In my 246 hours I took all parameters of Tidus, Wakka and Rikku at 255, but Luck (about 130) and... yes! I beated all Dark Aeons and also Penance WITHOUT Yojimbo! Trust me. If you want to become very very strong you must stock Break HP Limits and Ribbon armors by beating DARK Yojimbo many many times. To do that, you have to use armors with: Stoneproof, Def.+20%, Auto-Protect, Auto-Haste. Of course you MUST maximize Physichal Defence, Strength, Speed and take your luck around 100 (of course you have to use Celestial Weapons!) Maybe you will lose at the first trials, but then you'll learn how to behave. Trust me: I did it.
