FF IX to easy?

When I played FF9 through on my first time I found it to be the easiest game to finish in series. I have played nearly everygame.

The reason that I thought it was too easy is that I lvl up Zidane and I'm pretty sure he was doing nearly max damage before the end of the first disc.

I managed to defeat a lot of the bosses with just 1 - 5 attacks. I can't remember how high my main party ended at but I'm pretty sure I't wasn't that high. I'm not talking about optional bosses here. I'm talking about the general story.

Maybe it was because I played through most of the other FF games two to three times all ready ....

Does anyone else think that FF9 was too easy?

not really found it just as hard as all the others but then again none of them are hard unless you do the extra bits, none direct story related

I found X to be the easiest of them all, but IX was not far behind.

well i have never actually played the game. so i don't know hahaha! lol

It was easy at times, difficult at others. In random bursts. The end of the game was hard if you were not a high enough level. Some brutal fights in Memoria if it's the very first time you've played and you haven't leveled enough.

If you ask me ff games get easier as they progress, and I do agree, I can pretty much run through FF9 without having to stay anywhere to train because either the party is too strong or the enemies are too weak.

FF IX is really easy, but as long as you make your own challenges it's just as fun. I like to completely destroy games and max everything but I stop myself from leveling up in this one and usually I try to speed through really quickly. I sometimes run away from battles once in a while to make the boss fights a little more challenging.

Me well yes the only thing I had a problem with was that dragon right before you enter the Ifa tree when it has that purple sphere above it it killed me the first time but I got it the second and the only reason I lost once was I rushed a liittle and ended up attacking my own people.....

I played IX i think it was like the others, but if u want a challenge in that game try to get the sword excalibur2

I never got the impression that it was too easy, but I generally underlevel and I think I was paying far too much attention to the plot to care about how easy it was.
