Triple Triad

One of my favourite part of the game was getting all the cards and playing Triple Triad, the cards were also useful for getting items, but obviously it would be stupid to convert rare cards into items. I remember I never ever managed to finish this completely, always failing to get the PuPu card because I never had enough elixirs to give to PuPu in the only battle you get. But yeah, share your Triple Triad stories, wins and awful losses.

i loved playing the game, but i cant say that i ever went for pupu or anything like that, i loved to stop and play, however i didnt care if i did miss a card or anything like that

Fist time I played through 8 I wasn't that big of a fan of the actual game, I was young and only played the game really didn't actually take note of the story. I loved, and still love, the card game!!

i really hated it when i accidently spread rules to different regions but now i know how to avoid that.^_^

still trying to get the PuPu card..

I have never ever ever played the card game. Don't hate me! It's never something that I made the effort to get into. Am I missing out?

Triple Triad is awesome! This is one of the reason FF8 rocked! Of my entire gameplay time from start to finish, at least half of it was spent playing this! and Althea, you have not experienced life yet if you haven't played Triple Triad!

I gots all the cards, I was a duel master like Yugi. There was a little golden star next to it and everything.

Protip: Complete the CC card group quest before the end of disc 3 and they will all be chilling on the Ragnarok on disc 4. You can lose whatever cards you like and they will play them again - allowing you to card mod all them good cards and NEVER lose them for EVAR. CHOICE.

hmm didnt know that, good tip, i did get em all, but i usually just pawned them off to upgrade weapons

Yes, the card game indeed is one of the most interesting aspects of the game. It makes Ff VIII more attractive.
