FF VIII Rinoa

After seeing in so many other ff forums 9not this one tho) that people hate her I wondered what you people think about her.

does anyone not hate her?

cause i didnt, i thought she was a good character. i liked how she was a general's daughter leading a resistance movement against his empire. i also thought she was strong in battle with her limit breaks. finally, i liked her and squall together, and i believe i may be the only person that didn't mind saving her multiple times. after all, the game would have been nothing without her

well i love this game this is my favourite game and love squal and rinoa in it, i think there perfect for the story at hand and works well

rinoa is a good character for me.like yuna said ff8 is nothing if rinoa is not there.there will be no love story between squall and her.And squall might not gotten ragnarok and the cool space scene...

Personally, I liked Rinoa. She is not my favourite (surprise:P) but I of course enjoyed her.

I didn't know that there are people who -HATE- Rinoa. Maybe they didn't know that without Rinoa, FF VIII would be incomplete and perhaps Squall may never express his emotion to anyone else.....

I personally thinks that Rinoa is like Princess Ashelia (from FF XII). She is powerful in nature, for having Edea's power. And also, she is the one who makes the storyline so romantic. i really can't imagine there is somebody who hates Rinoa.

My fav. female character. Rinoa ftw! Yeah she's so pretty w/ his long black hair and a lil brown highlights.

i think people hate her because she was so intrusive when it came to squall and how his mind was set. also she isn't very useful though out the whole game,like disk three where she is possessed be the sorcers.

as for the love line i could have removed her and made the love line between the instructor <i cant spell her name or i would.>

the plus on rinoa was her weapon in long range she was cute and it did tie in nicely but ff8 isn't my faveert game.

note. i don't hate her i just have judged her do to game play.

I just never liked the character in general.I`m mean I`ve heard from other people that she could be token out of the game and it would still be good.I mean I personally could live without the love thing in it.But the game was awesome.

Rinoa...liked the character. Didn't liked her abilities too much. One limit break onvolves her best friend, a dog. He does the damage. Squall might as well kiss the dog for being heroic! And her Angel Wing trick=u jes got the party killed. U can't control her until she's DEAD and is bad when she's the only person alive. Wish she could've had Limit Breaks like Aeris from FF VII . Even though she didn't live too long, her breaks were more helpful than disastrous. Wish she could've stayed alive a bit longer...
