FF VIII Fire Cavern

Im playing 8 again and I choose 30 or 40 minutes in order to complete it. First time, to be safe I chose 40 and every other time it was 30.

Ive never used 20 or below and I think I personally should have as I have loads of time left over and I never run from the random battles, so with them added, you would think it takes a while.

Whats your shortest time and longest?
Did you ever run out of time? What happens when you do??

i always chose the shortest amount of time, and always had loads of time to spare, cant remember why it matters though

10 min for me and i wait till like 0:10 left on clock to kill Ifrit to get maximum points.

Well, I was quite afraid for the first time and I chose 40 mins. Then in the end, I still have 20++ minutes left............LOL......

and the reason it matters is you have to try and guess how long you will be the closer to your time set the better your rank will be

Ya, after playing for the second time, I tried a shorter time and.........I managed to get out on time......

I chose 40 minutes my first time and timed myself, I had plenty of time left to spare so I just decided the next time I played I'd do 10, turns out I STILL had loads of time to spare. lol Shiva and Blizzard really help lower the amount of time needed to kill Ifrit.

the amount of time you have left goes toward your seed rank, the less time you have the more your rank for that segment goes up.
I've done it in ten.
To get the best score scan Ifrit and make note of his HP when you think he's at about 100 (scan again to check) wait till there's less than a minute to go and pummel him.
You get 100 points for that bit.
