So what is the deal with this. The first time I went through i checked it maybe twice. My second time through I'm going to try to check it more often. Did anyone ever get anything good out of it?

Also, I heard that there is a cursed item in there that you can get after checking it while it's empty so many times...can someone validate that for me?

Yes, you can get a cursed ring (which stop the dmw) from checking it 20 times, if I remember correctly. You have to do it at the very beginning though. The first time you get access to it, you check it again and the Soldier tells Zack not to get greedy and after 20 times he gives you the ring.

You can't do it afterwards.

Yea I just looked it up the other day. I do have it in my inventory already. It's good for keeping your DMW where it needs to be for getting the Octaslash against the Magic Pot.

well there is 2 places to get it, you can get it in one of the missions as well

i cant recall, but i got it there because i missed the one in the capsule, and i used it when getting magic pot

I'm pretty sure you can get one from one of the magic pots after you get the DMW from him...I think it's the first one you can come across in the Tonberry mission. he gives you either the cursed ring or another item that I can't recall at this moment.
