Default Opinions On Before Crisis

I have known about Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII for some time now, but since it was a Japan only release and there was no english version I never got a chance to really learn anything anout it. I had read some details about the story from various sites, but I never really got into it.

Yesterday I had the urge to find out something about it and I searched TouTube for a playthrough of the game and to by surpise I actually found one. It was still in Japanese, but the person who posted it up added English subtitles to it.

I am about half way through the playthrough now and I must say it is actually fairly good for a mobile phone game based on Final Fantasy.

Has anyone else here read or watched the story? If you want I can give the link to the YouTube one I have been watching.

Default Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII On YouTube

The whole series is not uploaded yet, but here it is. To get the others parts of the series just go to the persons YouTube channel and they will all be listed under his/her "Uploads".

YouTube - Before Crisis Episode 1-a (English Subtitles)

It starts off a little rough, but after a few of them the person gets better at making the videos and it turns out alot better. When I catch up with where this one ends I will be going out and finding another one with English subtitles so do not worry about that.

I like the idea of a bunch of Turks. Thanks for the video link, I'll have to check this out since I guess we won't be getting this Stateside.

Default Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII

Well I just finished watching the first nine episodes. So far I like the series. Using the new Turks as the main characters while Reno, Rude and Tseng fill in the gabs as the command force comes out nice, I think.

Also, incase anyone who does not know is wondering. The reason the main character, the women, is only called "Shotgun" is, obviously because she uses a shotgun, but there is more to it than that. There are several new Turks in Before Crisis and they are all generlized as the "Player Turks". The person playing Before Crisis can name the Player Turks whatever they want, but to keep it straight when talking about them outside of the game the people are called what weapon they use. Cissnei is actual one of these Player Turks, she appears later in the series. That is why she said she still has not told Zack her real name because the player got to name her whatever and Cissnei is a codename. Incase you were wondering, her Player Turk motif is Shuriken.

Anyway, back on the subject of the series. The person I linked above has only released up to episode nine. I am still searching, but I cannot find episode ten. I found an eleven and twelve, but no fortunes on ten yet. I will keep looking, but if one of you finds it before I do feel free to post it here.
