The next FFVII game what it going to be about?

Now after beating Dirge of Cerberus and getting all the G Reports you see a scene with who we now know is Genesis. There is no doubt that there will be another FFVII (I hope it is a R.P.G.) so what do you think it will be about and who will the main character(s) will be?

Final Fantasy VII Compilation? I think it's going to feature Vincent again, I think I read that somewhere. Let me do a little research...

Yeah I think I remember hearing something about a DoC2 coming out in the near future. Sigh why would they remake that game, what more conflict could these same characters be going through... Bet it's lame.

Yeah, I'm disappointed and disgusted that so many spin-offs are being made. Well, Square knows full well that many FFVII fans are going to play and collect all of the related games, it's all business. Kind of makes me sad that they are willing to stretch an originally brilliant story as far as possible to squeeze out every penny.

I don't think they were stretching the story as much as they were stretching their own wings and seeing what else they might be able to make.

I personally hope another spawn of the title doesn't come out. Sequals and spin-offs to Final Fantasies were never anything short of an abomination in my eyes. As far as I'm concerned, just leave the unanswered questions be! Or if you're gonna continue to sap VII for it's money's worth in reputation, at least show some love to the series and spin-off the other titles.

face it there will be another one.)

Now if you think about any of the story holes they left the most likely
main villan for the next spin-off is one of three people.

1) Genesis: He seems to have a plan in the works.
2) Minerva: She appeard in Crisis Core after you beat Genesis and he started walking towards her and fell then disappeard. (The Crisis Core walkthrough says her name is Minerva.
3) Rufus Shinra: This is the most unlikely but you can never rule out this guy.

Although it is even more unlikely I could beleave Reeve would be a bad guy.

What about a Spin off with Tifa? She seems to be a very beloved character. Or maybe a game based around Sephiroth....come on now.

I agree with genesis as some guys come get at the end of Crisis core. But i think it should a game to do with cloud after CC.

The guys who get Genesis near the end of Crisis Core are Weiss and Nero from Dirge of Cerberus (remember C.C. takes place before FFVII and D.O.C. takes place three years after the original). I do think you are right though. Also all the games/movies take place after Crisis Core (it is a prequel spin-off). Now back to Genesis, That scene at the end of D.O.C. clearly shows him and I think he has a plan. The question I want to know the answer to is, Will Genesis be working as the leader or as follower to Minerva and if so what is her plan?

Now I already asked who you thought would be the main villan so now I will ask, Who do you think we be the main hero?

These are the most likely to me:
1) Cloud Strife (Oh please be him)
2) Vincent Valentine (I do not think it will be a D.O.C. 2)
3) Tifa Lockhart or a newbie (hopefully not the newbie)

Cloud is the only one I really see them making it with though.
