How old is Vincent Valentine?

Here's my go at it, he was indeed 27, having aged normally until then, when he confronted Hojo in the basement of Shinra Manor. After being shot in the arm and experimented on (like the very detailed explanation above) he was put in a suspended state of animation type of coma, but it isn't really a coma at all. Let me explain; about the time where Zack and Cloud escape from the manor, there are turks looking for their wherabouts. Verdot uncovers Vincent and they have a chat (this takes place in the Before Crisis mobile game (available only in japan)). So it's sort of odd that vincent doesn't age, yet he's not really in a coma. When he says he's sleeping, he really is sleeping.

Anyway, it's easy enough to say that 'he's not aging,' but what confuses people more is that he is still slated as 27 in advent children, but he's written up as 30 for DoC. Figure that one out.

He appears 27 (or is it 30?) and acts it too. Really, he's around 60.

Yeah, i'd take a wager that the experiments that Vincent had performed on him combined with the chaos gene may have stopped him showing physical signs of aging, after all it strengthens his body so why not? It would explain why he looks exactly the same (outfit aside) as he did before Hojo shot him. You could compare the chaos gene to the jenova cells as well, since they don't age lucrecia either. Maybe it has something to do with the Mako? I dunno if Cloud, Sephy etc have similar effects or not though.

Well I have played VII,Crisis Core Dirge of Cerberus and I have seen Advent Children.
Now when he worked for the Turks he was 27 years old so when he was told to protect Lucrecia he was 27. Then Hojo shot him he died but the experiments he did keep him from going to the Lifestream and since he is dead he stops ageing. When Lucrecia died he blamed himself and locked him self in a coffen as punishment and here he stayed untill Cloud got him out 23 years later but since he does not age he looks the same but since you hair still grows after you die his hair got longer so now he's 50 now in Advent Children he is 52 so in Dirge of Cerberus he is 53. So according to my reserch he is 53.
Note: I got my dates and times from the Dirge of Cerbeus FFVII official BradyGames walkthrough book the one I got came with a time line and it says when Vincent was to protect Lucrecia was 27 years ago from D.O.C.

human years he would be 63, but since hojo killed him at the age of 27 he stays looking that way. i did the math because i am a total vincent valentine nerd.
