Final Fantasy VII Remake Petition -Please Sign Everyone-

Ok, I don't know if this has been done before but if it hasn't I'm ashamed and appauled at all of you (not really, lol) but I'm drafting a petition to put on petitiononline.com to send to Square-Enix Ltd., Co to try and convince them to make a remake of Final Fantasy VII on a next-generation system such as the Xbox 360 or PS3 or even the PC. Before I post it and create the petition (and I'll post the link to it when it's done) I wanted to post it on here and get everyones opinion on what may need to be added or changed. So here is what I have as the petition text.

Please let me know what you think. Either post changes or just say that it's good to go.

As you know, ever since the release of Final Fantasy VII, a huge fan base for the Final Fantasy series has formed and continues to grow. With the release of such noted sequels, prequels and spin-offs like Dirge of Cerebus: Final Fantasy VII, the much anticipated release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and the hugely popular CG movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the fan base for the Final Fantasy VII series continues to grow; from the smallest of groups such as a group of high school kids talking about the game, to such great forums like forum.finalfantasyunlimited.net and many others. As enthusiasts, gamers and lovers for this great work of art, we, the gamer community, humbly cry out for a remake of Final Fantasy VII for the next-generation gaming consol and PC. This would greatly help to revive the Final Fantasy passion for those that are drifting away from it.

This was and is a superb game with deep emotionally attaching characters and a legendary story line that is known even by those that don?t play the games themselves. Please bring back this incredible masterpiece into the world of next-gen systems so that the already great experience that is Final Fantasy VII can be viewed and experienced again in the way that it was meant to be; in lush vibrant, yet dark, next generation CG.

I WiLL NEVER SIGN THIS, A REMAKE IS A WASTE OF TIME AND A BAD IDEA, FFVII WAS A CLASSIC GOOD GAME BUT IS LARGELY OVERRATED.

That's a mediocre comparison. Sephiroth didn't want power. He wanted to take the world back for Jenova. Kefka was just power hungry period. Terra was no infused with magicite, she was born that way. Cloud didn't lose his memory because of Mako experiments, his memory was altered during the mako experiments. Sephiroth didn't "rise to power" He hid away and searched for a way to give the planet back to Jenova
