Hey guys? Squeenix knows that everyone wants it, and no matter how many petitions you make, that won't make them act. Besides, even if they say no, it might be a yes. Squeenix releases nothing, says nothing, and fires those that do. They'd kill any leakers if they were allowed. Point in case, everyone wants it, and everyone is expecting it. Squeenix will not give in, it's just how they roll. They're waiting until everyone thinks that there's no chance they'll ever get the remake. Heck, they could be working on it right now, and still say that they have no intention of touching such a big project with a 39-and-a-half foot pole.

Or they could do exactly as they say they're doing. If you watched the commentary of the AC movie, they had no idea how to even approach such a landmark title. They hadn't a clue, and so proceeded in circles with mass difficulties before finally getting anywhere. If you watch further, Uemetsu (the brilliant conductor) confesses how he didn't even know how ff7 made it to begin with. He loathed the job he did on the soundtrack. "Filled me with shame," were his words.

At the same time, these could be reasons as to why they'd want to remake it. Who knows?

The real problem isn't any of these things: Aside from the obvious (getting all of the original creators together again), there's the slight problem of Final Fantasy XIII. Anyone wonder why it's being released on the Xbox? They need sales. The company is virutally tanking, and with the amount of money they invested in 13, it had better do well or we won't see another final fantasy. My opinion is that they're trying to get the money together from other projects in order to fund the remake.

Heh, if I haven't heard this for what 3 4 years now. I think everyone should move on in life. They've had thosands of these petitions and I still haven't even heard them confirm or really even mention it in the past 4 years now. All the people that made the game are gone. All the original creators don't make anymore FF games, maybe if they got an old producer maybe they'd debate on it but it's still unlikely. Embrace the truth it isn't going to happen and if it does, it probably gonna be a long time from now.

I think a remake would not really make the game better but it would be nice for the fans so yes remake Final Fantasy VII!!!

Ohhh and about this remake I think they are I forget were but with in a month now Square Enix told people that they were planning on remakeing Final Fantasy VII as well as VIII and IX so yes!!!
