| i've watched FFAC many many times and i'm curious about this grey wolf(was it?) that always appears in certain scenes..i think i spotted it 4 times.. -beside cloud's buster sword at the beginning of the story -in the church with cloud n tifa, where both of them fainted -a short glitch at the forgotten city,in front of the place where aeris' body is,right after the event of vincent, cloud and those trio -when cloud revives in the church, before the children shows up was there a reason for this??or its just a coincidence?or maybe square was trying to test their graphic skills on fur??(which i think they really did a good job on that!!) |

| Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | I interpreted the wolf as symbolism, it appeared whenever Cloud was isolating himself emotionally because of feeling guilty. Every time he had something to feel guilty about, there it was. He felt guilty for getting back to the church too late and letting Tifa get attacked, Aerith's death, of course, running away from his problems and trying to distract himself instead of addressing them. |

| i thought about that too and i can only say that the grey wolf is the same one on cloud's clothes that can be seen in e-no91 picture. I dont know if the clothes that he is using are from soldier or not, because if it is, it can be related, maybe, ... :/ |

| I interpreted the wolf as cloud's loneliness. actually, he lets noone get too close to him cause he feels guilty and believes noone could understand him. so he isolates himself. I know someone who does that just the same. so I find the wolf a great symbol for that.

| Member ![]() ![]() | I am in agreeance with Tifa.... I felt it was his loneliness that was showing and the expression of the wolf was just showing him as a "loner" type person.... always on the outskirts and never letting anyone close to him.... I could also see it as a representation of Zack.... Ever time you see the wolf.... it is watching over Cloud, or near him.... Kinda like a guardian angel watching over him.... Could be that Zack has picked a wolf to be a living form of watchover for Cloud.... so to speak. Just my opinion....

| ^_^ confirmed at last~ According to the "Reunion Files",a 'making of' book for Advent Children, the wolf,or known as Fenrir symbolizes Cloud's loneliness and his guilt for the death of Aerith and Zack. It is also speculated that the wolf could be the spirit of Zack, following him from the Lifestream. And it could also be attached to Cloud, signifying his being a Lone Wolf who tries to deal his problems his own way without the help of others... YAY!everyone's right!!

| Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | You think it was great? I honestly can't say that... I have emotional attachments to it because of its FFVII-ness, the animation was beautiful, but the story wasn't great. Maybe I'm just upset about the voice acting though! |

| I know what you mean...the story is not the best in the movie. but to me, the graphics and soundtrack made a lot of impression...so all in all I considered it as good.though the game ffVII is loads better when considering the story...I as well have very strongemotional attachments when at the game...who can say he doesn't have ;)?
