FF7 PS3?

The reason they would remake it is because they are still a business. They want to make money. There aren't many easier ways to do this than to pretty up something that has already been developed. Think about it. No new development team for writing a plot line. All they would have to do is add voice overs, new graphics, and maybe change some gameplay mechanics and they could sell it for the price of new PS3 games. Even if they sold it for half of that, they'd be making serious money with all of the fans who would buy it just because it's FFVII!

have you seen the money they have made since putting it on the PSN they dont care about spending the money and time polishing up FF7 atm when people are still paying 100+ for used copys on ebay. If i were them i would reprint 7 8 & 9 all on one blueray so people who dont like buying stuff online could get it.. Its a company i understand that but when you have people still fighting over the original and still buying it as it is now why worry about making it new again.. Its the KISS standard (Keep It Simple Stupid)

And I'm not saying that they won't do it that way. I just hope they go a different route than every other publisher/developer for video games. I would be so much more inclined to buy a newer HD version of all of those games than a reprinted version with all of the spelling mistakes, pixelated graphics, and other things of the originals.

yes they are a business, but although the game story is written, the rest of the game would have to be re-written, so would take a long time to do, and if they got it wrong, or not quite right, alot of their reputation would go down. So they do still need to think about the situation. When you think how big FFXIII is compared to the world in VII you can see how big a task it would be, and how much memory would be required for a game of that size

That would rock as hell. It would surelly be the game of the year and it would fu*k off Call of Duties Modern Warfares.

P.S: I just hope they don't crash it by making it to PC as well, because I remember SO damn well how frustrated I was when I reached Cosmo Canyon Cave in the original game, and then, BOOM!! After I turned on the switch, the game crashed when I was going to fight some monsters...and what's worse, I only was able to play that game on PC until that part of the game. That was why I always preferred PSOne version.
