FF7 PS3?

ya, its still a rumor.

But i hope its one that will come out for real.

Ive seen the trailer if it will be remade, looked very nice.

The rumor of FFVII being remade also came, not only due to the Midgar scene being played as a PS3 demo, but because the remake of Chrono Trigger had been terminated right around the time the FFVII PS3 demo. There was then speculation from the general public of the FF release.

Well about a week to a month ago I found a site were Square Enix said they were remakeing VII,VIII and IX I do not know if its for the PS3 or even the PSP but they said they were remakeing them.

I do not rember but I have a list of Final fantasy site were they gave me good information it has to be there (I am a bit paranoid.) when I find the address I will post it here.

Ok I found the site it was a thread from a interviewer I followed that to the people he was talking to and on that site it said that.
(This is not ecactly what they said.)

In the Tokyo game show 2007 Square Enix told Japanese video gameing magazine Famitsu that they were coming out with 27 or so games
11 of them remakes.

The interveiwer asked them if they planned on remakeing Final Fantasy 7 and they replied saying: A remake for FFVII is not a matter of if its a matter of when but right now we are cought up working on the FFXIII saga but we have plans for later to remake Final Fantasy VII as well as VIII and IX.

The magazine was Famitsu it is in japanese so I can not read it but if you can find a out how to translate it take a look and I found the thread by doing a search for "remake of Final fantasy 7,8 and 9" (I used Google.) if you still can not find it I am sorry but this was the best I could do.

well its definatly not next year, it would take alot longer than that to get them done,
and i remember during 2007 they said that they would not do ff7 remake unless they get the original team together for it. also i know they are good at secrets but not that good to not let it slip they are remaking them right now

I recon they'll wait until they sapped it all dry before going for a final boost of money by remaking VII for ps3...

That's what you call non-resourceful. I believe that's how rumors get started. It's not going to happen, never will happen. They've never done it before, and they won't ever start remaking FF games. Maybe they'll convert the games to the psp, or some handheld system, but i'm pretty certain that they're not going to remake any games in higher quality on a more advanced system ever, atleast not on the PS3.

well zaki thats a little off of never gonna remake any final fantasy games ever, they have already remade the first 4 with better graphics, different gameplay and voice acting
