Cloud Crisis core-> FFVII (dont read if played both spoilers)

OK heres my question to all of you cause i havnt worked it out how did Cloud from the end of advent children go off with sever mako poisoning barely being able to drag Zacks sword, swaering hed never forget Zack to suddenly being alot tougher thinking hes Zack and become a mercenary.

Ok the strength thing im assuminghas come from him getting to grips with the mako energy poured into him for 4 years but what about the rest cause im stumped.

I have no cleu either, on the other hand. It's seven years BEFORE the original ff 7 ga,e. Maybe he touchened in that period.

i think, the mako energy affected cloud's memory so that's we he thinks that he is zack because he and zack became good friends..

Yeah and zack told cloud his memories and things, so knew quite a bit about zack (I think)

Right so after sephi pwn3d cloud then got own3d, cloud and zack were dragged off so hojo could stick things in them.
That happened for like 3 years, so that in the original plotline, this screwed round with clouds head (zack is strong!!) and therefore he is like a mental patient (explains like all of ff7 rly) so cloud is injected with jenova cells which makes him supernatural.
Zack then escapes and brings cloud with him and then on the journey home tells him all about himself, the fool. Cloud is still unresponsive. So then they head to midgar, zack telling cloud about an idea to become a mercenary, then he gets owned by a sniper who would have hit cloud but zack is worthy opponent and dies! oh noes.

So Cloud then still messed up and now without a friend take teh sword of zack again and trundles off to midgar to do the only thing he really knows, which is what zack talked about. He gets to midgar and falls off the train into the arms of tifa. etcetra ectera.

This is how it goes in the original storyline before crisis core goes and screws around with everything.

Well in Nibelheim Zack and Cloud both fought Sephiroth at their own time and were wounded when all this ended. When Hojo's people got there they used the two as test subjects with the G projects advanced stages so Cloud, who Hojo thought was able to defeat Sephiroth in a battle, was injected with S cells the four to six years they were stuck in Shinra Manor they were alwas doped up but Zack, who was used to the mako, was still pretty strong but Cloud had mako poisioning since he was just a Shinra infantryman so when they escaped the S cells began takeing hold of Cloud or settleing in him so when the shock of Zack dieing hit him the cells fully joined with him but he was still a little sick so he got to Midgar Sector 7 slums where Tifa helped him and nursed him back to health but when he said he was from SOLDIER he was hired by Barret to help them. There you go.

this tempted me to register and post up. was watching an interview regarding the ending of crisis core with the dudes who made crisis core possible.

they explained that at the end (spoiler.. so skip everything if u dun wanna know the ending) when zack dies cloud promised to continue his legacy of some sort.

in the midst of being weak and sad and frustrated
he ended up living zacks legacy and coz of the experiment his mind was susceptible to alteration

so thats technically what happened.

thats why in advent children he visited the grave said sorry and rest in peace with the buster sword as the tomb.

if you can understand japanese i recommend u search for it. it was quite entertaining... they even discussed the zack summoning ideas ... which was funny. inspirations from out of nowhere xD

I'd have to replay both to give a good synopsis on this but I thought all members of soldier were infused with some form of Mako energy? At the end you see Zack start to lose all his stuff from the wheel. Maybe this is a reaction to extreme stress and Mako energy which is why they go through such rigorous training before becoming a member of soldier.

As for Cloud's situation I think the Mako posioning pretty much turned his brain into silly putty and Zack talking to him on the way back in the back of the truck was like taking the silly putty and stretching it out over a newspaper and watching the transfer happen. I'll have to play/watch them in order to give a better report.
