Aside from Odin, is there any other way to get the spell Quick?

maybe learn it with celes or terra or learn it from Gilamesh i think

Could be right, I've never actually played and not gotten them the spell quick before they learn it from levels, if they do. I'm not sure if you can actually get Gilgamesh in the PS version. I have yet to have excalipoor come up in the auction house.

And I realized an erro that I have in the post...Odin teaches Meteor, Raiden (the upgraded form) teaches quick.

I think Odin is the only one that has Speed +1 when you level up.

The PS version and original SNES version are the same except that the PS version has stuff added in like new FMV's and things were cleaned up a little. You should be able to get Gilgamesh.

I'd like to enlist my services as well on this game. This is my favorite of all the series.

Actually I think Gilgamesh is only in FFVI Advance... I can't exactly remember for sure.

and I do have a question, what's a good strategy to take out Bahamut? (and actually obtain him afterwards, since the Vanish + Doom strategy won't let you obtain him for some reason (for me at least... could just be a bug)) It's been so long I don't remember my strategy for this x.x
