Do you think relm is shadows daughter?

Do you think that Relm is Shadows daughter? after all were given a few clues throughout the game - such as only shadow and Relm being able to equip the momento ring...and shadows dog doesn't try to eat her

theres probably a few more but i cant remember them lol but i think that Relm is shadows daughter.

so did i but purely because Shadows dog is okay with her... though i would have thought if shadow was relms dad he would have magic like her...

Relm could be Shadow's daughter, but that doesn't necessarily mean Shadow has to have magic, maybe Relm studied magic and Shadow didn't?

good point but i thought that in FFVI magic was passed through the generations, meaning shadow would have to be able to use magic

Well I've been replaying it lately (along with other FF games) and I think it said something about people "reviving" the power of magic since it was lost long ago in the War of the Magi, but you could be right too. I can't exactly remember how it works. I still think that Relm could just have been studying the lost art of magic while Shadow hasn't though.

What was relm's grandfather's name again? Strago Magus...right. Did we see any interaction there or any resemblance?

Yes. It's official (at least I think) I've searched the web for a while and found that due to some clues given in the GBA version to include dreams that Shadow and Relm have, Relm is Shadow's daughter. See my FF Profile of Shadow for details.

In fact Shadow has 5 dreams that you can view by sleeping in a bunch of different areas after getting Shadow in your party permanently by waiting for him on the floating continent.

If anyone wants the scripts for the dreams let me know.

She can probably use Magic because Strago taught her. She was living with him as a foster grandparent, and he is from Thamasa and decendant of those with magic. I could see him passing some on to her.

If that's possible. The story is supposed to go that people can only obtain magic through espers after the War of the Magi (that's why at the start of the game the Empire was going after the frozen Tritoch(sp?) in Narshe). Terra can use it because she is half esper. Celes was engineered to use it with esper technology. I don't know about Relm. Never thought about it, and I don't even remember if she can use magic from the get go or not. It's been a while and she was never someone I used. Like at all.

What Carl says make lots of sense... but unfortunately I've been so swamped with work hours I don't have time to do a lot of things like I did awhile ago x.x I haven't had time to make it back to Relm and Strago so I still can't voice that big an opinion, but I have to ask Shadow if it's not to much trouble could you post maybe one or two of those dream scripts?
