I've only played some of 2, all of 7, some of 8, all of 9, some of 10 and now playing through 13. :D

But so far I HATE 8 and 10. With 8 I just don't like the upgrading weapons because I can't do it, got to Ultimicia's castle with level one weapons because I never had the stuff to upgrade them, and I hated having to draw my magic form the enemies, could of done without both of those things otherwise I might have enjoyed playing it.
And 10, I just found quite hard and hated the sphere system, didn't understand that one little bit, I just went along it as best as I could, took forever to beat that bloody evrae, (can't remember the spelling of it sorry, hopefully you all know what I mean)

I was enoying the 2nd one, but my laptop packed in and had to be reset so I lost it. Don't ask how I was playing on the laptop I don't have a clue someone from the other FF forum sent me a link through my msn, I follod the instructions and BOOM BABY!! FF2 on the lappy.

I hated the first Final Fantasy... ok, lets be honest, it was the first and worst, the combat system, story and the characters all sucked.

I think it is un-fair to compare a game like I to modern games. Yes the graphics, gameplay, story and all that are less advanced than modern games, but when it came out in the late 80s it was a revolutianary game in both graphics and gameplay.

The first Final Fantasy wasn't nearly as bad as the second. Oh and I play my FF's on my laptop too normally. I do own them on my PS1 already though

out of VII VIII IX X XII XIII i enjoyed IX the least... still loved it but the rest are better

I did not go for FFXI.

I just didn't think that Final Fantasy should take a MMORPG route. The game seemed like it should stay a Single player game. I never liked MMO to begin with, and I thought the idea was preposterous. The game doesn't seem all that good even now. I don't see what's so special about it.

I actualy have a hard time considering Final Fantasy XI an actual Final Fantasy game. I have never played it, but them releasing a game and my not liking it just because it is an M.M.O.R.P.G. just seems a little rash, especially when I have never played it. I do agree that Final Fantasy should not be an M.M.O.R.P.G. and it should remian a J.R.P.G. series.
