Most Satisfying Ending

Which Final Fantasy ending statisfied you the most? For me it was FFX and IX.

I would have to say FFX-2 since FFX was a cliff hanger

i dont think X was a cliff hanger at all, if X-2 didnt come along, I thought it ended perfectly, which is why I say X. the only game to ever make me cry, played it like 7 times and it still makes me tear up

If I had to pick something off the list it would be Crisis Core.

With Final Fantasy this is hard to say. I would like to say VII but with all the spin-offs I do not consider VII over. So, in pure terms of which one ended and I thought the ending was full. I would have to say either IX or VIII. To be honest I am leaning towards IX since it went over the whole main cast but since VIII really only focused on the two main ones, Squall and Rinoa, it makes since for the ending to be the same. I am going to go with VIII on this.

FFIX:

I thought the Zidane and Garnet reunion was particularly satisfying. Vivi's death was very sad, nevertheless felt like he had conquered death and come to terms with it in his final speech.

FFX:

It wrapped up the story good and it gave us a nice mystery flash after the credits. Of course the mystery was completely ruined with FFX-2.

I liked the fact that Cloud was able to settle his differences with Sephiroth (or so he thought) although Aerith's death made me feel kind of sad, the game seemed to end on a happy note, although much work needed to be done in the game's universe.

Agreed, I could also say that Crisis Core makes me cry by watching its ending.
