What are your hopes and expectations for Final Fantasy XV?

What is your wishlist for Final Fantasy 15? Here's a few suggestions of mine.

- Characters with set job classes.
-Turn based battle system like in the original FFs or real time battle system similar to FFXII
- Bring back the world map, airships, dynamic world and more interactivity.
- Less linearity

The battle system doesn't really matter to me as long as it's not some sort of first person shooter like Dirge of Cerberus. I just want a good storyline that'll keep me hooked like the older Final Fantasy games meaning good characters, good interaction with characters, and a suspensful storyline of course : )
Battle systems aren't so concerning because figuring out the new ones is kinda fun.

yes too me it os definatly all about the story, although the graphics are really nice, i would prefer a game with less high detailed graphics and a better fuller story

Graphics shouldn't be near as important about what keeps you hooked mentally.

Anything better than XIII really. Better battle system I miss the turned based combat. And having characters with either set jobs or set roles for the whole game would be nice like main character is your melee, character b. is magic user either black or white magic, etc. Also make combat a bit more difficult not so difficult I have to gain 30 levels just to beat the third boss, but make it so I can't look away and turn off the tv and make me a smoothie and just press X the whole time and win and get a 5 star rating at that.

Another thing which could upset people, I wish it was just PS3 exclusive. Now I have both a PS3 and 360, but PS3 barely has any exclusive titles. Especially since most RPG's are now multi-platform or 360 exclusive.Most being the latter.

FF was the one RPG I loved that was always for PS that's why I usually buy the newest model of the PS first just for FF. Only games that come to mind that has remained on the playstation, as far as a series goes, is God of War series and Metal Gear Solid series. That is not a whole compared to the 360 having Halo, Gears, Fable, most RPGs coming out lately are 360 exclusive as well, at least the good ones, and in some ways CoD I hardly hear people say I play CoD on PS3 it is usually I play CoD on the 360. Everyone I know that has both systems always gets CoD for the 360.

As for the storyline well Square has a near perfect record for nailing a great story, so all I could hope is this would be one the titles they hit the nail on the head with the story instead of their and our thumbs.

well not always PS, they were nintendo, i remember when everyone complained when Square went away from nintendo to the PS

My hopes for Final Fantasy XV are very simple. A return to traditionalism. The return of the world map and travelling across the world map like they last did in IX. The return of the A.T.B. system because Square's version of gameplay for XII and XIII serves no point.

FF XIII is big joke and wist of money >.> they should never make like this battle system ever again or the name of this charc. ...
something like FFX nice story good names ... summon ... some thing like FF7,FF8 and FF10.
